The shoe looks tight (I have Fred Flintstone feet) but the leather is soft and stretches easily. I didn't notice much extra room on these banks as others have discussed. The soles are made of soft rubber, so they feel softer than regular heels and more like running shoes. I tend to feel pain in my feet a few minutes after putting my heels on and I wore them for several hours on the first day without pain. The hook and buckle system of the T-Strap takes some getting used to (put the strap into the hook and the decorative element holds the shoe strap). My feet also tend to swell and the strap is a bit stretchy so it gives in. I highly recommend them I think to get them in a different color Cons: I'm overweight and the shoes felt a bit thin when walking I would urge caution as it seems that if I step on the wrong shoe it will feel between the heel and The cushion stretches. I'm deducting one star because of that, but to be honest I think these are great shoes for the price
