I bought it to cut a lot of paper. I found about 10 pages was hard. It has plastic pieces that go up and down to hold your paper in place and one of them didn't fit when it snapped into place. It was a little wrong. When cutting, the cuts were okay, if three sheets were cut, then at the 10-sheet mark the result was not always good. It works well for slicing a sheet or three, but I wouldn't use it for large quantities. I ended up buying a commercial paper cutter, I expect that I finish my project about 90% faster with a standard paper cutter. Having to cut more than 10 pages at a time for a large project wouldn't work. If I could do everything from scratch, I would go straight to a commercial cutter.
