Review on 🌲 S Survive Outdoors Longer Escape: Ultimate Survival Companion for the Great Outdoors by Dave Brummet

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I believe you can go down to 10-20 degrees and feel comfortable. I used a thermal pad between the ground.

Just got mine in preparation for a backpacking trip and wanted to see if I could leave my sleeping bag at home and just use the bivvy. I used Bivvy for a long weekend in the desert. I felt as warm as in a sleeping bag designed for temperatures up to 20 degrees. I slept in thermals with a long sleeve shirt, you can also consider something with a hood if you get cold. The temp was 40-50 degrees at night and more like 90 during the day. A few things before buying: 1.) You must remain fully within the bivvy surface, if a shoulder or arm detaches from the aluminum barrier you will quickly catch body heat to lose. 2.) If you intend to use the tent in colder weather, you will need to stack it in layers. By using a layering strategy, I think you can drop the temperature to 10-20 degrees and be comfortable. I used thermal padding between the floor and the tent. In conclusion, I recommend the longer breathable version and longer verses compared to the non-breathable versions, I've tried both versions and this version is by far the best. I would buy again and can therefore recommend this product and the seller. {Weigh once with a sleeping bag that packs easily into a backpack where there is room}
