Don't rely on them.

This is not a blanket. This is a very thin mylar bag (like a plastic bag) that blocks the wind and reflects your body heat but doesn't keep you warm. By itself, this doesn't matter in a survival situation. Find out how and when these thin Mylar bags can come in handy. You are probably not what you thought you were.

Pros
  • rescue blankets
Cons
  • boring packaging

I like having two of these in my car.

I like to have two of these in my car when driving in the cold winter. When you have car trouble and your car breaks down say during snow storm or storm, it will help to avoid whole body temperature problem, you just put it on yourself and it will help you a lot in survival. Thank you for the product availability, Dennis from Indiana

Pros
  • Sports and outdoor activities
Cons
  • Very expensive

Just got mine in preparation for a backpacking trip and wanted to see if I could leave my sleeping bag at home and just use the bivvy. I used Bivvy for a long weekend in the desert. I felt as warm as in a sleeping bag designed for temperatures up to 20 degrees. I slept in thermals with a long sleeve shirt, you can also consider something with a hood if you get cold. The temp was 40-50 degrees at night and more like 90 during the day. A few things before buying: 1.) You must remain fully withinโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Safety & Survival
Cons
  • Dear
