I live in an old house that had no wired internet in any of the rooms except in the kitchen closet where the wires went. Wifi is good but not as fast as the wired connection here. My work requires wired connections to be as efficient as possible. So I had to cut and drill about 40 holes to get the cable through the metal stud walls. The holes in the drywall that I had to drill or cut aren't particularly large, but there are plenty of them. I have wired broadband internet in every room at this location. Well I had to patch all these small and medium holes and these patches fit my needs perfectly. A patch of the right size quickly closed the hole. By applying successive layers of drywall clay that was frayed enough that the stain wasn't visible, the earlier hole in the drywall was virtually gone. This method of attachment completely eliminates the need to cut drywall to size and attach it securely to studs or other drywall. Also, with this cut and cover method, there's no chance of my screws in the walls damaging my thin Category 6 Internet LAN cables. The patches met or exceeded my expectations, so I have no negative feedback on this product .
