Review on Silverstone Tek ML04B: High-Quality Micro ATX Media Center/HTPC Case in Sleek Black Aluminum Design by Justin Reese

Revainrating 5 out of 5

worth your attention. Well made case - well thought out design.

Very good case. Solidly built and well thought out. The only downsides I've found relate to the reset and power buttons. Small and difficult to use. Not that you'll be using reset that often, but it's hard to hit and smaller than a power button. Since I'm using this in a firewall app, the device works 24/7, so it deserves a 5-star rating for me. If you turn it on and off regularly, it might bother you. . Those nits aside, this box is built like a fortress out of steel, down to the front panel. I opted for an aluminum front panel instead of a plastic one. Some well thought-out features: Magnetic filter screen for large air opening. Easy to remove and clean. Steel bracket (large) for mounting the fan under a large ventilation opening. The 2.5 inch drive cage is secured with two screws located behind the power supply. Space for two 80mm case fans on the side or top when mounted vertically. It doesn't come with leg supports to mount it in a vertical position, but the manufacturer sells them separately for its other boxes. I called CA and they shipped two mounts to the east coast for a total of $12.
