Not suitable for small children in my opinion.
My daughter would wake up every morning, bring me her earrings and cry that they "fell out". "Mom's gone!" Pointing to her ear. It got old very quickly! We lost so much in kindergarten. Now I have about half left. The rear thread is not deep enough. I do not recommend for a 2 or 3 year old child.
