Review on πŸ”Œ Enhance Performance with Denso 671-6182 Spark Plug Wire Set by Scoony Taker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good replacement cables for those who don't want to pay the price of OEM

These are a perfect length match to each of the standard wires replaced and work flawlessly after the first 2 months of use. Both fit snugly onto the bank 1 coil and also attach securely to the spark plug at the other end. The only thing I noticed is that there are no numbers printed on each cable to indicate which cable goes where. So you need to measure them next to the wire you just removed to determine which wire to use for that connector. The 2 cables are very short in length so it's not obvious during installation which cable went where if you allow for a possible slight variation from the OEM cables coming off the truck. They also didn't stamp the production date on the thrm like the OEM did. The Toyota OEM wiring harness also comes with clips and some abrasion resistant plastic wrapped around certain areas of the wiring and some soft foam insulation for high wear areas where it intersects with the valve cover. I unwrapped these plastic sleeves from my stock wires and installed them in the same locations on my spare wires, although they weren't needed, and I cut the pieces of foam in half lengthwise and placed them to fit my new Denso wires. protected, as well as the series that have outlasted me for 15 years and 102,000 miles without any problems. The terminals of the removed OEM wires can also be reused on these Denso wires. Basically, if you have some OEM cables left in your truck and are willing to do it yourself, you can get OEM-like cables for almost half the price. If you don't want to spend the extra money, get OEM cables from Toyota (Sumitomo) instead, as they come with all the extra stuff and took so long on me.
