First I have to say that the product is well packaged. I bought it mainly for my sushi knives and think the mesh size might need to be even higher for premium knives. What's so good about that? 1. The stone comes with a bamboo stand, so you don't have to drag the wet tower under the stone and prevent it from slipping. 2. It contains 3 different stitches, which means you can use for different kinds of knives, there is a number written on each stitch, you don't have to guess. 3. This also came with an extra small stone which I think you can use to smooth your stone after a long time of use. This is useful because the surface of the stone loses its flatness during use. It's a god to reappear every now and then .4. The stone also came with a glove to keep sharp knives from cutting your finger, I don't need that but it's good to include if your wife wants to do the work for you. In general I am satisfied.
