I installed them to align the worn suspension with the installed front grille guard and to keep the larger tires from rubbing. Here's my application: 2000 Toyota Tacoma Ext Cab SR5 (5 Lug) 235/75R15 on 15x8'sWestin Sportsman Grille GuardFabtech FTS-7078 ShocksEnergy Suspension Sway Bar Kit Using the coil spacer adjustment above, about 0.5 to 0.75 inches of lift was added enough to smooth out the front end, stiffening everything and preventing tire chafing. I also used a razor to cut and modify existing OEM coil spring isolators for reuse along with the coil spring spacers in this kit. In theory, this should add a little more lift, but probably not much. I also found that the included polymer shock bushings fit a lot better than the oversized rubber bushings that come with the Fabtech shocks. Hats off. for this Daystar!
