I got the struts and they were easy to install. These gas struts are exact replacement parts for the original 2002 bed top ones, albeit from a different company. They are very sturdy and hold glass well. This guy no longer needs to hit a barbell or a head without breaking the bank. They install easily with a flathead screwdriver, simply prying the retaining clips halfway to loosen the ball attachment points. Don't hesitate, just get it and enjoy your hat like it's new.

I verified the item by subtracting the numbers from the original gas holder, did a google search and in fact I found it on Revain. The package arrived on the agreed day. Using a flathead screwdriver, I removed the old racks and simply put in the new ones. The back glass of my cap no longer hits my head as the new pillars keep the window up like it used to be when it was new. FYI, the shelves that come with the ARE cover last 13 years.
