Direct and attractive. I think the plastic will hold up better than the original. I returned Lowes because their version's nose comes out too wide and too thin. It will break like the original. I think this one looks better too. A sleeker yet simpler design. It is the nature of the beast that they are difficult to install as you have to reach for the sink while holding it at the top to screw it on. Depending on your sink, you may need a third hand to hold it while you screw it on. It's not that difficult, it's just a matter of distance and reach. My son only held it up for a few seconds while I screwed it down securely. Light. Oddly enough, it looks so similar to the lamp's design that I keep reaching for it to turn on the water.
