The coconut shells crumbled like chips.
The sponge is very hard and does not contour well. The abrasive side was coconut shells and they fell apart after a few uses. Lots of shards fall into the sink. Lost pieces of shell cut into my skin like wood shavings. The idea of using sustainable sponge materials is great, but they need improvement before they can be commercialized.
