Review on Crafting Delight: Unleash Creativity with Klutz Tiny Stitches Craft Kit by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Ideal for learning to embroider

Saw it at a book fair but it was a lot cheaper at Revain so ordered it here. I loved how colorful everything was, how many different tiny stitches he suggested for you and how he taught you to embroider and cross stitch! I have the starting materials so I went and bought some extra fabrics. I will say this is for a few skilled craftsmen and not the best for kids. I would say it's more for teenagers because it can be tricky and tying knots the way they show you isn't quite right and doesn't quite work. You'll also need a workspace and a place to store leftovers, and VERY precise fingers and eyesight to thread the needle. You will also need a thimble which I had to purchase separately. You're going to prick your finger sewing and embroidering, just so you know. The thimble I purchased came with a sewing kit with many of the other supplies I used such as note paper, scissors, needles, pincushion etc. so I would recommend purchasing something like this as well. came with more than three small brown tags. They are perfect for tiny stitches and I wish I had a dozen of these. The necklace that comes with it is of poor quality so you can't wear pendants. You need to buy another chain. In my opinion, this set is still a solid four stars for how fun and colorful the book was, despite what the set was lacking.
