I've always wondered how such a small product can help so much in the kitchen. I had melted the previous pottery with a plastic lid and top, I liked it but it was quite large and bulky. This one holds the same amount, has a nice strainer and a great removable lid and I really like it. I wish the lid wasn't removable so it could be closed easily, but the strainer is also removable so it should be fine as long as you keep them together. The only reason I bought it is because my mother complained that the other one didn't have a lid. So I got it, I'm glad I recommend it to someone else.
