I wanted to love her so bad. First, they are so beautiful. The combination of gold and light pink looked gorgeous live. I needed a shoe that my little one could slip into without my help or having to sit down to put them on. Unfortunately they weren't. The neoprene backing is almost unyielding so it had to be put on while seated and even then she struggled to put them on. I told her that she could also wear them as flip flops and step on the neoprene lining, but she complained that she was uncomfortable under her foot. It was a feature, I thought she'd like to get out the door even faster, but then again it's not. If the lining were more elastic, this could be the perfect shoe for gliding through the water. We will use Natives and Crocs for summer shoes. I was so upset that it didn't work for us.
