Could be cheaper. That suits my needs well. I needed something to cover the front of the 1U bay that houses my vertically mounted Mac mini server and RAID array. I wanted to be able to see the drive LEDs from the front while running. The air vents on it allowed this. I had to flip it from the normal orientation to fit in front of the 1U tray. The little lip that should have been in is now out, but I don't mind. This is all for a residential installation, so passive cooling was the goal. My 6U mount is completely open on the sides and back. This contributed to my outdoor passive cooling efforts.
