I bought them for my JT with the doors closed. They are functional and will happen. However, I'm sure there are better ones. It's kind of a pain screwing them on and off if you don't keep your doors closed. I can see where they end up causing some paint issues when you screw them on. I have used them several times and will probably never use them again for this purpose. I will invest in better ones. Just be aware that they are not really what I bought them for. I'm sure they are perfect for ATVs. They moved a bit with the wind because they need to be bent so you can see well from the jeep.
