Very light, that's why I bought it. On the first day she was attracted to cat hair like a magnet. I pulled the hair out and left it a foot away from the purse and it immediately returned to her. I was afraid that she would be constantly covered in fur. Luckily I haven't had any problems since then. It must have been static because of the packaging. My only complaint is that the interior pockets make it difficult for me to slip my wallet into my purse. They stick out too far. They either needed more zippers or maybe some kind of elastic to keep them lined. (I have three times a small Vera purse)
