This is a lightweight ripstop material with velcro straps on the sides and neck. It's not the strongest or most durable rain poncho, but it's still a very good product, especially for the price. My only complaint, which took a star off, is the visor on the hood, it gets in the way and folds in front of our eyes. I just folded it under the hood and it kept it from flopping again. If you wear a baseball cap, she does the billing for you. I will definitely consider other Foxellie products.
