Review on EHEIM Professional 3 Thermofilter 2180: Powerful External Canister for Large Aquariums up to 317 US-Gallon Capacity by Jamie Brady

This is a good quality filter and works well. If you're thinking about buying this filter, you already know that. This is more of a rating of ehimes customer service. I emptied my filter last week to clean it because it was necessary and to my great surprise and disappointment it would not start and run. After trying for a day and not getting a response, I contacted Ehiem customer service for help. I did it with great trepidation because I heard that their customer. The service is not very good. Luckily I have someone who has been more than helpful and incredibly patient with me. There is a part that helps or is responsible for circulating the water that is faulty. It enters the impeller and intake area I think. This part is made of rubber material and should be red. After about a week with no filter and no troubleshooting, I received a replacement part and my filter worked. Kudos to ehiem's customer service! By the way, the water supply system for this filter is too complicated. 1 inlet and 1 return is much better for priming and restarting the pump.
