Review on Clear KidKusion Finger Guard, Pack of 2 by Isaac Tutt

Who needs children?: Security

My husband and I do not have children, but we do have pets. He sleeps during the day (3. Werewolf, not a vampire), and I sleep at night. We wanted the door to close almost completely, but still leave enough clearance for dogs and cats to enter and exit the room as they please. We tried using the doorstop but the pets kept kicking it out the door (sometimes on purpose) and the door slammed as it bounced off the doorstop again. After browsing the internet I came across these door panels on my fingers. Ideal! In stores I could only find them in packs of 5-8 and we only needed one. Also, they were mostly white, which contrasted with the golden oak doors. Found this 2 pack and problem solved! The transparent material sticks well to the door. It's at the top of the door and it's easy to forget it's there. When the door is closed, there is a small gap, just enough to press a cat's paw or a puppy's nose against the door. As the door closes, there is a soft knock. Quiet enough not to wake any of us when we are sleeping. I would definitely recommend this turquoise, even for a home with no children.
