I am pleased with the WCL X100 II conversion lens for the X100f. In fact, most of the time it screws onto my camera and stays there. The X100f makes it easy to use a digital teleconverter with WCL and go back to standard focal length when needed. The images appear just as sharp to me as without the converter. There are several things to consider. 1. The converter slightly increases the overall size of the camera. When attached, it protrudes an additional 1 1/2 from the end of the regular lens. It requires a 49mm filter, just like a normal lens.2. You'll catch a little more highlights. I always have a good quality 49mm filter on my converter (Hoya) and this can also exacerbate problems with flare. But nothing is impossible if you work with the camera for a while. I added a photo taken with WCL to the camera. It's scaled down for download but gives you an idea of what I'm talking about in terms of image quality.
