Review on π Toshiba SD-K740 DVD Player with Progressive Scan for Enhanced Quality by Zachary Spaulding
MUCH VALUE: Gets 1.5 stars
Toshiba is a pretty BAD brand: yes it can work and run for several years but the fridge or bathroom can break, if it persists for multiple times in a game - progressive scan is lousy and getting worse; I have a black stand model (thin/low version). And the R-scan is deteriorating and getting worse. You're better off using a cheap Coby brand (at least it worked fine for 2 or 3 years), at least you know when it's dying, not this slow death. This lousy(!) brand is only for the VERY PATIENT person. I can't believe they charge so much for this crap.
