This card is well designed and crafted. There are buttons for each of the four SATA power connectors. Depressed = ON, extended = OFF. Each button has a corresponding (tiny) LED to indicate if the device is powered on. Each connector also has a high quality solid capacitor, so you can theoretically turn on the power when the computer is on (although you should actually be doing this when the computer is off). The card doesn't use PCI-E electrical connectors, so I popped mine into an unused slot in my Fractal Design Define R6. With this card you can easily double, triple or quadruple boot your PC. You can electrically unmount unused drives (Windows, Linux, FreeBSD, etc.) without going into the BIOS menu. It also ensures that one operating system does not overwrite another operating system (especially the bootloader). Before purchasing this card, I saw many other similar products that can be installed in a 5.25" bay, but my PC only has one bay, so I was waiting for such a card. The SATA cables are long enough to get to each of the drives On my computer I use all four connectors which for me is 2xSSD + 2xHD. I recommend the hard drive power button module without hesitation. This is a great product!
