I love that this product was affordable! It was exactly what I needed. I've spent a lot of time reading the forums and not just to make sure I'm doing the right thing. I have a PS4 Slim, I recently bought wireless headphones. In order to be able to fully utilize the headphones, I need an optical output, which unfortunately the PS4 Slim does not have. I read online that you can use TVs outside the home. Unfortunately, my televisions already switch to my surround sound. Wow, I need a splitter. This product did just that. It separates the signal to my headphones and surround sound. All I have to do is make sure my surround sound is turned down in case I just want the audio to come out of my headphones. hp I read in forums on the Internet that the quality can be affected by splitting. I didn't notice anything serious. And I still use Stereo 7.1.
