When I was pulling one of the chopsticks out of my hair the first time I put it on, it got caught on a splinter in a tree. I knew to expect possible discoloration from other reviews I read about this product and in fact most of them are greenish in tint. But I still like them a lot and will keep them. Just a warning to inspect wood for splinters!
