Comfortable but unstable WARNING!

I bought this chair after reading some reviews saying it would fit a tall person. At 6ft 4in 250 I was hoping to find an option that wouldn't ambush me every half hour and would give a decent takeoff height. Pros: - Super oriental to build and feels like a well made construction. -- The wheelbase is metal, so it seems a bit more durable than cheaper chairs. Oddly enough, the wheels are made of plastic. The seat is comfortable and well padded for a taller person. It's a bit firm, but that's preferable. The problem mentioned in other reviews is definitely correct. WARNING! Mine slipped out from under me after 1 day and I haven't figured out how to stop it yet but it could seriously injure me. Even after reading all the reviews and speculation. if it didn't happen, it happened. 1 star deduction for that. -- The armrests are cheap plastic and don't snap, so they rotate horizontally when you put your elbow on them. I'm confused why they didn't do better given the rest of the chair's design. 1 star deduction for that.-- The headrest cushion is a bit clumsy and the deer doesn't really stay in place. If you're taller and need to lift it up a bit for comfort, that might be an issue. Assembly instructions are just pictures without words. Consider it if you are not a very practical person who can figure everything out. However, what happens without instructions is quite intuitive. Let's wait and see: As far as I've mentioned, I haven't had any piston problems, and to be honest I hope not either, but they usually come later. Overall I like the chair so will be disappointed if it starts to fail. After 1 day I am satisfied with my purchase. It was a bit out of my budget but seemed like the best option after burning myself twice with chairs under $200 and not falling into the crazy $500+ range.
