Review on πŸ’ͺ MUTUACTOR Neodymium Threaded Vertical Pull Force: Unleashing Maximum Magnetic Power! by Frank Dubey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They just work, but understand you want a hard/thick surface to grip, no pucks. LOL

I agree with the previous reviewer that this isn't a single solid magnet, but rather a set of smaller (seems like six smaller magnets, about 10mm or smaller) of some sort. which was covered with rubber. I've had trouble with this as well, as it literally chooses what it's going to latch on to and stay there depending on its orientation. I had a partial grip (about 2/3 the area of the magnet) on contact with the metal plate and it rotated with the camera I had mounted on it (GoPro 4 session). Don't get me wrong, this is appropriate for me, but for others it could be a deal breaker. I put it on a carbide table with 14ga steel for the top and it gripped great and it's quite difficult to pull straight up but the shear strength is terrible also the rubber coating seems to stick to the table when you're on one pull angles to remove the base of the magnet from the table as if the magnets were pulling on rubber. Regardless, I really recommend this set as it comes in 4 pieces and each one is worth the price on its own. CONCLUSION: It does what it says on the tin and the 1/4-20 bolt with washer and nut gets the job done perfectly when tightened. Most cameras use this pitch thread, so you can attach a lot of things to it, not just cameras. Also worth noting that the packaging was top notch, they wouldn't let it be damaged, not even by Fedex, although I don't remember who shipped it lol! Arrived quickly and at a very reasonable price. Get them, you won't be disappointed. I have Mags at work so don't have a photo right now but I used magnets to hold a custom made mount this magnet uses to hold it in place with an Okuma CNC lathe. I have several videos of this action.
