I contacted Amazon for a return and refund as the return instructions state that battery powered items are not accepted as normal returns. Instead they offered to send me a new pair. I explained that I didn't need a new pair, the sound quality was amazing, the volume was very mediocre and when one headphone broke I didn't feel like trying another pair. At the moment they have returned my purchase, for which I am grateful. BUT I am now responsible for the disposal of these lithium-ion powered headphones. (I suppose that's why they didn't want to return them, because they don't want to pay for the responsible disposal of the product.)
