Better than expected, especially for the price.

I was very impressed with this mic, I was looking for a panel avalanche solution and after looking at Shure and Sony XLR mics that cost $100-200, I decided to test one of these for fun. what is the difference in sound. To be honest there is very little background noise like many condenser mics, but since it's so negligible and I'm using an audio gate/compressor it still goes away. For those wondering, the jack is a 3.5mm TRRS jack but comes with a 1/4 TS adapter that easily converts to XLR for use on a mixer. 20 foot wire is fine but I wish they would find a shorter solution as I would rather use a long XLR cable than this headphone gauge cable. but since the main use is aimed at users with slr cameras and mobile phones, this is understandable. The battery compartment, which provides the 'plug-in' power needed for use in mixers, has a strong clip and is positioned the perfect distance from the microphone itself, allowing it to snap snugly onto my belt loop when I route the cable underneath. my shirt up to the collar. The battery compartment is also metal, which was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting plastic at this price point. The mic clip and lava is also very well made, the crocodile skin clip is all metal except for the plastic clip that the mic actually snaps to, but very strong and even high-quality clamps are exactly the same. The clip is also kind of standard, because Love works with my clips from other microphones and vice versa. Foam,
