Okay little installation problem

The mounting screws for my case mount were facing backwards. But they can be easily turned around. Fan, quality and noise level are as mediocre as any cheap fan. The durability is a little better than I expected. The fan (wheel and blades) is not attached to the shaft. It's easy to put on and take off, which is a bit annoying.

they do their job and .,

They do the job they were made for. Much cheaper and cleaner to replace the motor and blade and clean the case than to open the top, remove the old one, install the new one, plug in the vent, patch and paint, clean and maybe some more. Work. It is better to replace the motor and clean the device for many reasons, especially if people live there.

Replacement available

I bought about 6 of these motors to fix bathroom vents. Fans work well. The only problem is that every fan you get looks like it's from a different manufacturer. The stem coming from the motor is longer on some of them and needs to be filled to fit in the case. Some mounting bolts are larger than OEM so you will need different sized nuts to accommodate them. If you have even a little understanding of the mechanics, you can solve these problems.

Great replacement for my air freshener

The local shop closed about 30 years ago and I bought this air freshener for my wood shop because it had 3 stage activated carbon filters. It looked like a 1 1/2 foot howitzer projectile split diagonally and clearly wasn't a huge hit. Bought for $5.00 and turns on automatically with power from the store. doing a good job A few weeks ago the engine finally ran dry (pun intended) and went straight to the Revain. Received as a replacement, fits and everything works! Needs to be cleaned a little…

  • Volume

I have used the same bathroom fan motor in my new house before and it worked great. For the current project, the house was much older and this fan motor did not fit in the base frame. But with spaghetti can metal and the right screws/washers/nuts I was able to mount the fan motor and it worked great; not bad for a cheap, high quality fan motor. The motors/fans for this old house are no longer made, so you need to be innovative and flexible. Saved a lot of money on this project!

Works as expected, reverse rotation, nuts required #6-32

This fan motor was used to replace a 30 year old bathroom fan. The motor runs smoothly and quietly, as you would expect from a cheap bathroom fan. As other reviewers have pointed out, mounting nuts (2 nuts, #6-32 thread) are not included, but are available at any hardware store. The direction of rotation of the fan can be changed simply by removing the bearings and motor shaft, turning the motor over and reinstalling it. However, if you need the mounting studs on the same side of the motor as…

This motor is NOT mechanically reversible -

Many replacement fan motors can be mechanically reversed - swap out bearing hub ends - this assembly CANNOT be mechanically reversed. The bottom hub of the bearing does not have a hole to allow the shaft to be flipped like 99% of all others do. Bracket with nuts removed from fan blades. On other units the bolt goes through the motor first and then through the bracket with nuts next to the fan blades - it makes a big difference! If the motor is mechanically reversible you can use it on any type…
