This fan motor was used to replace a 30 year old bathroom fan. The motor runs smoothly and quietly, as you would expect from a cheap bathroom fan. As other reviewers have pointed out, mounting nuts (2 nuts, #6-32 thread) are not included, but are available at any hardware store. The direction of rotation of the fan can be changed simply by removing the bearings and motor shaft, turning the motor over and reinstalling it. However, if you need the mounting studs on the same side of the motor as the fan, this won't work because the mounting stud bearing doesn't have a hole for the fan shaft to go through (see another reviewer).
