I don't often write reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to warn people of the potential danger. First, let me say that I haven't had the chord shutdown issues mentioned by many other reviewers. Not once did the chord become disconnected during use. The heating function is sufficient and the massage is firm but comfortable. Now to the question. The massage/heat function turns off automatically after 15 minutes, but 15 minutes is rarely enough to relieve the condition. The first time I used it, I probably restarted it and let it run for about an hour. After using it I decided to take a shower when I found two blisters on my lower back. Well two days passed and the blisters turned into the two painful sores you see in the pictures. Whether the ulcers are a direct result of overuse on my part or a dangerous fault in the massager, I can't say for sure. The instructions state not to use the heating function beyond the initial 15 minute cut-off, which I didn't do. Again, I don't know if it's my fault for the misuse or the manufacturer's faulty hardware. I'll try to use it again in a shorter amount of time after my wounds are fully healed and then post additional feedback. ***Update: I received this email from a seller who was trying to bribe me into removing my negative feedback in exchange for Revain.
