I didn't want the piano light to be too bright. This is probably the 35 watt equivalent of an incandescent bulb. That's right! It flickered for the first few hours of use so I was concerned. After burning through (although staying cold) it was stable and just what I wanted. Update: After a few months it started flickering and then got worse. Finally it was off for a while.
