Nice warm light. on light bulbs

The standard bulb in my wife's souvenir cupboard burned out so quickly that I decided on an LED. I wasn't sure about the "warmth" or color of such an LED, but I was pleasantly surprised. The light output is almost identical to an incandescent bulb and I expect this bulb to last for several years.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • A bit worn

I didn't want the piano light to be too bright. This is probably the 35 watt equivalent of an incandescent bulb. That's right! It flickered for the first few hours of use so I was concerned. After burning through (although staying cold) it was stable and just what I wanted. Update: After a few months it started flickering and then got worse. Finally it was off for a while. Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Hopefully this LED bulb will last as long as expected - everything will be fine in a few weeks. I've seen most LED bulbs in this form rated for a tenth of an equivalent incandescent bulb (6w=60w, 8w=80w etc) and I'm having trouble fitting a single 4w led to find the lamp. I saw that this lamp was equivalent to a 25 watt incandescent lamp, but I also saw that it…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion
