This grinder is great value for money but you have to know its limitations. Engine and suspension are great. The shaft is precisely machined and well balanced. Fenders are good. The set includes a beautiful chest of drawers Diamond. The quality of the supplied grinding wheels is less good. While they're better than the typical gray wheels that come with cheap grinders, the samples that come with my grinder and those I've seen on others show big differences in how well they're bored and balanced. One of the wheels that came with my mill was drilled at an angle and was completely unusable. After a lot of work I was able to level and balance the other with spacers. I replaced the broken blade with Spartan CBN (cubic boron nitride) which I highly recommend for sharpening HSS turning tools and I plan on replacing another one soon. I would advise you to do this or at least use pink Norton wheels and machined steel inserts. I also added a Oneway Wolverine sharpener. The cheapest CBN wheels will cost you almost as much as a grinder, but they last much longer than loose wheels and don't need to be deburred. A good sharpener costs the same as a grinder, but makes sharpening a lot easier and does a better job than freehand sharpening and allows you to create profiles that are extremely difficult to create by hand.
