A good starting point

This grinder is great value for money but you have to know its limitations. Engine and suspension are great. The shaft is precisely machined and well balanced. Fenders are good. The set includes a beautiful chest of drawers Diamond. The quality of the supplied grinding wheels is less good. While they're better than the typical gray wheels that come with cheap grinders, the samples that come with my grinder and those I've seen on others show big differences in how well they're bored and…

Poorly designed tool rests. Otherwise everything is fine after replacing the defective parts. Customer support is totally unresponsive.

On reassembly I noticed that there were cracks around the mounting holes on both eyeguards. By default, the left wheel was loose, and the wheel mounting flanges were found to be bent, resulting in 1/4 inch runout - enough that the wheel couldn't turn because it hit the wheel housing. The customer service department doesn't seem to exist, but when I also emailed the sales and parts department, I finally got a response. The sales departments responded within 3 days and the parts were delivered to

Great grinder with 1 1/2 " CBN wheels

I am a woodturner and do not use the tool holders provided as I use the Wolverine system to sharpen my tools. 1 1 1/2" CBN D-Wheels I don't keep any wheel covers or 'eye protection' either. My previous coffee grinder was a Delta VS 8" but it died after about 4 years. I bought a replacement "off the shelf" from my local Lowes but it was faulty (engine noise). Then I researched the internet and found Wen and Rikon .Specs and reviews on Revain are similar but I chose the Rikon for a bit more money
