After assembling the stand, largely ignoring the instruction manual, the end result was good in terms of sound quality. Previously, the center channel was under the TV in the A/V rack. Moving the C/C speaker in front of the counter made the fluffy vocals crisp and clear. Wonderful. Sanus lost a star for poorly worded and sometimes misguided assembly instructions and promotional parts not included in the kit. Fill these coasters with sand if you like, as advertised. If I were to do it again, I'd buy a solid, all-welded stand for slightly higher shipping costs compared to Ikea's flat-pack approach. After all, you don't buy once every few years. .
