The instructions were terrible. The two posts were different lengths which required some work to get the top plate flush. Generally inferior production. I managed to adapt it to my Klipsch Center Channel but will be looking for a better one in the future.

Very strong, heavy and well made. to be assembled gives simple and clear instructions. Sanus should check out the Lego instructions. LAUGH OUT LOUD!

I had no issues with the assembly which I found intuitive. I bought the 18" version because I wanted the center channel to be under my TV. The size of the top plate was satisfactory for my Klipsch center canal. I chose to use the Klipsch supplied rubber feet on the bottom of the center channel speaker. because I was of the opinion that the supplied rubber buffers were not suitable for my purposes.

After assembling the stand, largely ignoring the instruction manual, the end result was good in terms of sound quality. Previously, the center channel was under the TV in the A/V rack. Moving the C/C speaker in front of the counter made the fluffy vocals crisp and clear. Wonderful. Sanus lost a star for poorly worded and sometimes misguided assembly instructions and promotional parts not included in the kit. Fill these coasters with sand if you like, as advertised. I'm so glad I found this Sanus Series 18 inch center speaker stand! In other home theaters I've had, I've always had a TV in the entertainment center, so there was a shelf to place the speaker channel above or below the TV. I just finished my new home theater and my TV is on the wall so there wasn't room for the center channel. With this new center channel stand, the speaker sits perfectly above the carpet at the audiophile recommended height of 18 inches. This is a very nice home theater…

I bought one of these for my Klipsch RP-504c but it wasn't enough so I bought another one. The Klipsch center channel is a beast, but putting it on stands was expensive. All said, not the speaker's fault or the booth's fault. Very durable even without ballast. It looks like a speaker. I was torn between this stand and a similar 22 inch stand. It's a shame I didn't get bigger, but my wife likes it that way. Find out. Great stalls but expensive.
