Still standard on CB and radio sets

I had one of these harnesses back when I was fighting ski patrol, search and rescue and wildfires. At that time he wore a Bendix King. I have no idea where I lost my first one, but somewhere in the crowd it disappeared. This replacement is for my ham radio handheld computer. My Kenwood D72A fits perfectly. I have the radio set to 'small radio' which means the display is above the mount so I can see my readings. If I wanted it to be more secure (when hiking, skiing, etc.) I would slide it deeper into the pocket so it had a little more support. This is quite an amazing radio pendant. It's the default for a reason. He's well built, strong and does what he needs to do very well. At the same time, the material is hard-wearing and should last forever. But that means it has some weight for such a small system. But I will take this weight with quality. Also just food for thought in case anyone on a ham radio is interested in this - you will need to block the buttons due to the way the radio sits in the cradle. Aside from just carrying the radio on my belt, which I hate, I haven't found a good way to deal with it. It's just the nature of radios versus mounts. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a radio harness that will stand up to anything thrown at it.
