Chemical Smell!: Sunglasses and eyewear accessories

I bought these with high hopes but the chemical smell was so bad I had an asthma attack as soon as I opened it Crate. Even after washing them with soap and water and airing them out on my covered porch for a few days, it still smelled strongly. I would be surprised if this product worked for people with chemical sensitivities! In addition, the image of a female model makes the glasses appear larger than they actually are.
