As others wrote, I really think it should have been included in the camera. (But I understand some people have outfitted the RX100 with a vlog mount that might include a handle.) And it's a bit pricey for what it is. Other than those complaints, it's great! The tactile grip of the rubber is excellent, the fit on the camera is perfect and the mounting strap is very secure. And it certainly greatly improves the ability to hold the camera securely. can you take it off if you want Yes. My first RX100M7 had some electronic defects and had to be replaced with a new one after a few weeks of use. I managed to carefully but confidently remove the AGR2 from the first chamber and install it on the new one. Before I took it off I figured I would have to change the tape before I could continue with the new camera. (I have the correct tape for it, so no problem.) But I was pleasantly surprised to find that the original tape worked fine on the new camera. The tape left small stains on the broken camera in a few places, but these can be cleaned up fairly easily. Perhaps the process would be more complicated if AGR2 has been around for a year, for example. But for this situation it was pretty easy.
