Revainrating 4 out of 5

I did not regret the purchase, everything is fine.

I will say right away, this is my second MacBook (the first was Pro 13 late 2022), and the 7th PC-laptop. And I will say right away, if you want a gaming laptop or a versatile multimedia laptop, you are in the wrong place. Yes, it copes with watching videos, even fHD, with more or less weak games. Even TombRider went to the bare minimum. But best of all, he copes with office / Internet tasks. So to say, take it with you on a trip or on the road. Photoshop, Remote access, Video rendering - eats everything. Of course, I immediately installed Windows 10 (tech preview) via bootcamp. It worked perfectly, then I still installed Windows 7 due to the blocking of many functions. When you don’t want to sit at the desktop, Air saves. Performance with the previous generation has increased by an average of 15-20%. This is normal, but why this increase is needed when working with the above functions is not clear. But there are also disadvantages. Without a case, it will turn into a worn piece of metal in a year if you carry it with you often. I put minus 1 for the fact that Apple decided to capitalize on the 12-inch, which they did not like a bit, by sticking a retina into it, and leaving a cheap screen in the still expensive Air 13.

Pros
  • - timeless design - the thinnest and lightest of the 13-inch laptops - comfortable keyboard (except arrows) - good performance for such a case - perfectly assembled and fitted to the body. Nowhere does not creak, does not play. - very decent battery life (the whole day of mixed use keeps with a bang). -charging MagSafe 2 on the magnet (never accidentally drop the laptop if you touch the charge plugged into it).
Cons
  • - outdated screen, low resolution and mediocre color reproduction - the cooler gets very hot and noisy under load - very vulnerable to scratches and chips (despite the fact that it is aluminum) - extremely fragile to falls (if I dropped plastic banduras on the floor, and they survived), then I saw the consequences of the fall of the MacBook Air - it's easier to buy a new one. - only 2 USB ports
