Happy Camper!: Tents

I am very happy with the camper! I received my tent in less than a week. Was packed very well; The packaging was intact and upon opening it was found that the item was in perfect condition. The tent and all accessories are in a travel case, which is very compact for the size of this tent. At the time of writing this review, I've put it back in my bag twice and while it's not that easy to put back, it still works. The completely dried out air from the tent helps here - if the air stays, there is no chance that it will fit. When I first took the tent out of my bag I was amazed at how huge it was! I was planning on doing a video review in my basement, but it took up the whole room (and I have a decent sized basement). Even in my two car garage with 8 foot ceilings it needs more space. It has a "main area" and a room on the side, I would plan to use this smaller room for sleeping. It definitely sleeps 6 comfortably. As for the materials: Crua has done an excellent job of creating what appears to be a very durable product. I have had much cheaper tents and they have lasted a while but this is definitely a product that you will own for a lifetime. They even include patches in case your tent breaks! While there is much more information on the actual materials and construction on the Crua website, I have to say that I have never been happier with a purchase of a "sporty outdoor product" in terms of build quality. The stitching is really strong and I don't expect to have to worry about re-stitching. The only thing that could have been better with this purchase is the pump. The adapters on the pump and hose kept coming loose during pumping, and my wife and I had to do it together. I'm not saying it's impossible to blow up the tent alone, but it definitely makes it easier to work with another person to hold the hose in place. In this case, the pump blows up the tent very quickly! There are two posts to blast and if you were in a hurry you could probably do it in 3 minutes. Overall, I'm very happy I bought this tent! It's a bit pricey and by far the most expensive tent I've ever bought, but I'm sure I'll get my money's worth.
