First of all, the pattern is perfect for a child who loves all things fantasy and the unicorn princess! I prefer the base color white as I can highlight any other color in the patterns to accentuate their space. The material is definitely soft and feels slightly silky. The description says 'matte microfiber' which to be honest is a bit misleading. After reading this I imagined the real feel of microfiber but it's just slightly silky cotton. Because of this, it's not as warm as I might have thought. There's nothing a lightweight fleece blanket can't fix. Manufactured with quality. Washes well although I always air dry rather than tumble dry to keep the colors vibrant. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy again!
