Overall I like this product. You get 2 for a reasonable price. The retaining ring has a locking mechanism so it cannot accidentally detach from your dog's harness. At one end is several inches of stretchy material that acts as a shock absorber should your dog be affected by the laws of physics and move when your car isn't running. The seat belt connectors snap easily into the seat belt assembly. I did a few test pulls after putting it on to see for myself if it would hold up and not come out. We can now take the dog with us when riding in a jeep with the doors removed and knowing he's the same because he's radioactive. Unfortunately, this was tested when we pulled out of the parking lot and surprised him, and without the seat belt and suspension he would have fallen out of the jeep. I am very happy with it. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that I would have liked it to be a little shorter.
