This 3½ to 2½ disc adapter is a failure for me. Yes, in some cases it works like a piece of double-sided tape. I have 3.5 inch drives installed in the bay. This adapter is not installed in the tray. It was possible to mutilate the tablet and get it working, but then why need an adapter. This manufacturer knows what matters, but decided to save two cents and not work for most people. You know all about moving a 2 ½ drive so that it bumps into a fixed connector. They saved two cents and made the adapter so short and small that the 3 ½ drive bay cannot be attached to the adapter.
