Charges quickly and works well. I used to combine electric staplers and manual staplers. This works about as well as any others (and certainly better than the manual ones). It makes a loud bang so I would use ear plugs if doing more than a pair of braces. The instructions for loading the pins could be better. The build quality is good, which is what I expected for the price. Two complaints. First, the battery is not replaceable. This is a downside in a lot of ways, because when the battery gets to the point where it can't hold a charge, you're left with a paperweight. Second, when I received it the box of staples was open and the staples were hanging out of the box and breaking (see photo of the staples I received).
