Good strong wire for our invisible fence. The perimeter of the yard is 700 feet, so that worked well. I routed the cable, twisted the ends going into the house, connected to the transmitter and plugged in. Checked for signal, no breaks. Then bury it about 4 inches (by making a narrow trench next to the wire with a bevel, then push the wire into the trench with a meter stick) or secure it to the base of the chain link fence with 4 zip ties. I checked the signal again, everything is fine. It seems a lot stronger than the 20 gauge wire that came with the kit I bought a few years ago. And it was compatible with the transmitter from the kit I bought previously (PetSafe).
